As a quick history note if you haven’t heard of him …
Johnny Appleseed was the nickname of John Chapman, a 19th-century American pioneer and missionary who planted apple trees all across the Midwest, all for free! He stands as an important figure in American history as his orchards helped early American settlers establish communities for years to come. He became a lasting symbol of frontier life and American folklore due to his simple lifestyle and generosity he showed throughout his lifetime.
In this nod to Johnny Appleseed, we’re celebrating the best of the apple with all kinds of fun bites – showcasing all different types of apples, apple flavors and apple creations! It’s the season we are all reaching for those fall flavored snacks … now with just the right pairing of wines for you to enjoy!
You’ll experience this guided wine tasting inside our main tasting room with one of our amazing wine guides, who will be taking you through each bite and what makes it the perfect pairing! You can experience it for yourself, take notes, and see which is your favorite, and maybe even take the idea to your next fall gathering!
