For dinner we’ve got options from both our winery kitchen and food truck! The kitchen is serving up this month’s specialty Pinot’s Pick Charcuterie\, wonderful shareable small plates and desserts! Check out our monthly menus online to see all our options for this month. \nIf you are interested in doing a tasting and getting the full City Scape experience\, we do highly encourage reservations on Sundays as we cannot always guarantee a tasting at a specific time without a reservation. It is a great chance to get to know our wines as the tasting menus change monthly and are hand-selected by our Winemaker and Owner\, Josh Jones. DESCRIPTION:This past Saturday\, January 3rd\, our beloved Pinot the Pig\, a part of the City Scape family from the very beginning\, passed away at almost 10 years old.\n\n\nPinot was a surprise gift to Debra for her 30th birthday and quickly became a big part of our winery family. Pinot was no ordinary pig. He was spunky\, incredibly smart\, and endlessly entertaining. As the winery grew\, so did Pinot. Within a year\, he learned how to sit\, jump\, spin\, hike without a leash\, and give high fives.\n\n\n\nBeing the winery mascot\, Pinot developed a taste for the finer things in life. He occasionally tried to sneak a sip of wine and was gently reminded it was not for pigs. His love for gourmet cheese was unmatched\, and once he spotted it\, there was truly no stopping him.\n\n\nIn his younger years\, he would hop in the truck with us for rides to Chick-fil-A and Starbucks\, charming employees everywhere by sticking his head out the window at the drive through. He loved long hikes\, rap music\, and simply being wherever the party was happening.\n\n\n\nAs Pinot grew older\, he moved into a charming cottage at the winery\, where he became a crucial part of our sustainability program\, eating the leftovers from the kitchen and fertilizing the land.\n\n\n\nWhile our hearts are broken and feeling a bit heavy\, we are so grateful for the joy he brought into our lives and into this place. Pinot reminded us not to take life too seriously\, to laugh often\, and to embrace the unexpected. He was truly one of a kind\, and his presence will forever be part of our story.\n\n\n\nWe would love to honor Pinot together. On January 17th at 4 PM\, please join us at the patio cottage for “A Celebration of Oink” – A joyful gathering to remember our sweet Pinot. We will be sharing stories and memories that celebrate the life\, laughter\, and joy he brought to so many as well featuring Pinot-inspired wine selections. A glass of wine with friends of course! \nWe’ve had such an incredible year of reading and can’t believe we are getting ready to go into our final month of 2025 – while also looking forward to all the book we’ll read together next year! If you are new to the book club this is the perfect time to jump in\, cozy up with a book as the temperatures drop and find the perfect excuse to enjoy a good read and a glass of wine.  \nWe’ll be meeting up at the end of each month to discuss the book over a glass of wine! You can do this as a group of friends reading together or use it as an opportunity to meet some new friends—you know you’ve got at least a love of City Scape in common!  \nFor the December Book Club\, we will be reading Theo of Golden\, by Allen Levi.  \nOne spring morning\, a stranger arrives in the small southern city of Golden. No one knows where he has come from…or why… \nHis name is Theo. And he asks a lot more questions than he answers. \nTheo visits the local coffeehouse\, where ninety-two pencil portraits hang on the walls\, portraits of the people of Golden done by a local artist. He begins purchasing them\, one at a time\, and putting them back in the hands of their “rightful owners.” With each exchange\, a story is told\, a friendship born\, and a life altered. \nA story of giving and receiving\, of seeing and being seen\, Theo of Golden is a beautifully crafted novel about the power of creative generosity\, the importance of wonder to a purposeful life\, and the invisible threads of kindness that bind us to one another.\n \nYou can purchase your own copy of the book in paperback or as an audiobook to listen!
