SUMMARY:Winemaker for a Day | White Wine Edition!
DESCRIPTION:We know you have had plenty of experience drinking wine\, but how about making it!? We are so excited to be hosting our popular “Winemaker for a Day” event! This is a unique 2.5-hour experience where you will learn everything from how to grow grapes\, produce wine at home and even blend your own custom bottle of wine to take home with you! \nHosted by our winemaker and owner\, Josh Jones\, the day will start out with an hour-long tour of our vineyards and production areas\, where we will discuss how you can grow grapes and make your own wine at home. Afterward\, we will have a custom dry red wine blending session inside our underground barrel cellar. This will be an interactive experience where you will learn firsthand how to create tasting notes\, measure samples\, and create a custom blend. At the end you will blend\, bottle\, cork\, and label your very own custom bottle to take home with you! \nThis is a unique experience unlike anything else and is limited to just 18 people! The cost is $125 per person\, and includes the tour\, blending class\, a custom bottle of wine with label\, all needed supplies\, a cheese board to snack on\, and of course… plenty of wine to enjoy! \nThese won’t last long so grab your spot soon! Whether you’re indulging in a wine tasting\, unwinding with friends\, or gathering to celebrate a special occasion\, we’ve got everything you need to make the day unforgettable. With exceptional wines\, delicious foods\, amongst the winery backdrop\, your Saturday will feel like a mini getaway! \nWe’re open from 11:00am-7:00pm with wine by the glass\, bottle\, flight or tasting (see reservation information below for tastings)! Our Winery Kitchen will also be open with our monthly charcuterie\, small plates\, and desserts until 6:30pm. \nThe Cork & Fork Food Truck will be open from 12-6:00pm with their Summer Menu featuring Spicy Pickle Fries\, Fried Green Tomatoes and an All American Burger! It’s the perfect summer pairing to any of our wines! Looking for a tasty non-alcoholic option – their lemonade is the perfect refreshing during these hot summer days! \n \nLooking for something extra special for your Saturday – our owner and winemaker\, Josh Jones\, is hosting a Winemaker for a Day class that is perfect for celebrations or for those looking to get a behind the scenes look at how the magic happens! You’ll get to see behind the scenes of how we make all your favorite wines and all have the chance to blend your own custom bottle of white wine to take home. For more information and tickets click HERE! \nIf you are interested in doing a tasting and getting the full City Scape experience\, we do highly encourage reservations on Saturdays as we cannot always guarantee a tasting at a specific time without a reservation. It is a great chance to get to know our wines as the tasting menus change monthly and are hand-selected by our Winemaker and Owner\, Josh Jones. This indoor\, seated experience includes warm bread & Happy Cow butter and a Wine Guide to walk you through all the selections and help you find your favorites!
